Oops! Too late!

There is a new listing in my neighborhood.  It just came on the market last week.  I wasn't surprised that today's mail brought a "Just Listed" postcard from the listing agent, but the postcard also told me about the open house.  Unfortunately for the agent, the open house was yesterday! 

This is not my listing, but if you are looking for a one-story, 3 bedroom 2 bath zero lot home in Addison Texas, call me!  Priced at $194,900 and there is a pool.  1480 sq ft.

Lorrie.. This is why I am not an advocate for these postcard mailings.  By the time they usually arrive to their destination, the information is obsolete.  I've gotten postcards where the property was *just listed* (this was a few years back) and in MLS it is under deposit.

Steve:  I have actually gotten buyers from the Just Listed postcards.  I like them.  But I make sure I send them out in a timely fashion.

I used to send out Just Listed and Just Solds but now that I don't have Microsoft Publisher I can't make my own.  I had to buy a new computer and I have not purchased Microsoft Publisher yet.  It kind of slipped my mind until two days ago when I thought I was going to make postcards.

James:  I have NO intention of telling him. He'll figue it out eventually.

Angelia: I can do similar cards in Microsoft Word, although I have  template in Publisher that it easy to use.

Lorrie.. That is another good point.  If one looks at it this way.. you are saving a tree.  Let's hear it for going GREEN.
