My favorite transformation(S) of 2008!!

Yes...I said transformation(S)...plural.  You see, I loved both of these projects and I really can't make up my mind :-)

This first house is a house that we bought, remodeled, and sold.  I fell in love with this little house and was going to move into it, but someone else loved it to and wanted to buy it...so we sold it.  Here are the before and after shots of the kitchen we remodeled!

The second house is a house that we staged for sale.  It had been on the market for 18 months.  The homeowners took the house off the market and did some major renovations and then staged it.  The house sold within 3 months of being back on the market!

Very nice remodeling projects-they are such fun and so rewarding when completed and sold!

Julie ~ I love the way you opened up that kitchen in the first pictures!  I can see why that would be one of your favorites!

Julie, The enlarging of the kitchen in the top photo sure improved this room and I am sure added a lot of value to the property.  I love doing these type of remodel improvements, at least when I am finished.

What a dramatic difference, Julie!  Very nice work.  I wish more homeowners would believe us when we tell them that some updates are in order if they really want to sell their house.

I wouldn't be able to decide either. The paint makes such a difference! I especially like the framed mirror replacing the large plain mirror. It looks so much richer!
