Top Tips to Sell Your Home in a Winter Market

Capitalize on selling your tacoma real estate home...

...or home in Pierce, King, or Thurston County during the winter.

Any season of the year can be a good time to sell. The buyers in winter are normally more motivated and have a schedule. That means less looky loos. Additionally, there is typically less competition on the market.

Home Selling Tips:

  • Light a candle or use a "seasonal" potpourri to give that warm, at home feeling.
  • Prune your trees, bushes, and dead flowers.
  • Always leave the lights on for unexpected late afternoon showings.
  • Always leave a front porch light on.
  • Keep a swept, clean entrance.
  • Keep the home at a comfortable temperature.
  • It's a myth that your house looks better in the summer. Your home interior normally looks the best during the holiday season when tastefully decorated. Be careful not to clutter.
  • An overpriced house will not sell, regardless of season.
  • Trust your Realtor® who can watch the market and tour your competition.

Great list, especially #8 and #9. By the way, a good general rule of thumb is that if you have 1-3 bullet items, you can use either bullets or numbers. However, if you have four or more bullet items, number them for easy reference.

You're going to have to count to see which items are #8 and #9. I had to count twice, which wasted a little time, but I wanted to comment on your list.
