Well, now that most of you have added blogging to your marketing efforts, have you thought about making money with your blog?
Now, of course your ultimate goal is to establish relationships with buyers and sellers that result in a sale. But how about making a little income in addition to that?
Here are some ways that you may want to consider:
- Add Google Adsense to your blog. This is virtually a no-brainer, and one of the easiset ways to monetize your site or blog. There are some really good tutorials out there, and I promise to submit one in the future. But for now, head right over to the experts...Google themselves. In just a few minutes, you can have the power of Adsense working for you. Read Google Adsense tutorial here.
- Sell affiliate products. If you visit AgentWhiz, you'll see how I have added valuable content, along with offerings for tools and products to enhance an agent/broker business. You can sign up to be an affilaite marketer at Commission Junction or Linkshare. There are more, and we will review them all in a later post.
- Offer best-selling books from Amazon. You could offer real estate related books, home and garden, travel and local area books, etc. You'd be surprised how easily income can add up from the purchases of your readers.
- Partner with local business and allow them to advertise on your site for a monthly or yearly fee. Visit local lenders, home inspectors, surveyors, etc. Let them know you have an active website or blog, and that you put continuing effort into marketing your site, therefor ensuring good exposure for their business. Provide them with statistics on your visitors.
