Virtual Assistants

By
Real Estate Agent with Port City Realty 54149

I have one full time employee, who is also a licensed agent. I have one part time agent who is my MLS secretary. They both are crossed trained in each other's jobs. The part time person would like more hours. It occured to me that I could hire either of them out as a virtual assistant. They run an office with 20 agents and can do everything.

Any suggestions on how I can get them started?

You could hire them out through Revanetwork.com but they could now, or eventually will, figure out how to do it by themselves without you.

Hi Julie~ I don't recommend them using the REVA Network site..it has been vacant of activity for about 2 years. I think the best way for them to get started is to either go outside your office locally and network with other agents, or get themselves set up as a business and actually become a VA. They will need to to market themselves and network to build business but that is the best place to start. We have VAs in the Real Estate Virtual Assistants Group and they are welcome to join. They just need to put themselves out there and talk about what it is they know how to do:)

Thank you for the reply. I have thought of a few other offices that might want some help. I will tell them about the group.

Are you looking to market them as your resources or give them a way to market themselves?

If they are good and figure out what's going on, they'll be out on their own in no time.

Either is fine. I just want them to be able to get as many hours as they need. They are very good and I don't want to lose either of them, but I don't need 2 full time employees. I'd rather share them than lose either of them.
