Stay in Contact with your asset managers!

Real Estate Agent with Port City Realty 54149

I am so thankful I have joined the REO groups at ActiveRain. It has already been helpful. I had an agent that had done work for several years with Integrated Assets and then suddenly nothing. He had a hard time reaching anyone and had given up. After reading one of the posts here I decided to try to help him get with someone. He has now made contact. They said they did not know what happened but they could see he had done a good job in the past and they told him they would move him to the top of the list.

So, if you have worked with anyone and done a good job, contact them. I have never thought of it like I do my regular referral business, but from now on I will. I will be making a good effort to stay in contact with all my asset managers from now on!

Julie - great idea...we should all stay in touch with the Asset Managers more.  We all know they have a difficult job and staying in touch with them could really make a difference.

I think I should pay more attention to the REO groups also.  I haven't been lately...

Thanks for the advice.  So much of this is done online that you almost don't think to pick up a phone and call them.

Julie, reaching other asset managers at companies you are already working with is the best way to increase your listings with that company. If you are already doing a good job for AM #1, then AM #2 is likely to give you a shot with listings they are managing as well.
