My first blog post on AR!

By
Real Estate Agent with 1702 Real Estate

I recently had a video produced for a property in mid-town Mobile. There is also a 360 degree virtual tour on realtor.com and other sites. I have a professional photographer come in and take photos of my larger listings. I do all of this on listings that merit the service. I notice though that many realtors do not. Why is this? Just curious. The video is targeting people outside the city. We are experiencing some much needed growth in our city and are attracting people from all over the world. I use this the video as a promotional video of the city as well as my listing. Please let me know what you think.

For my local buyers, and those searching sites like realtor.com, homes.com, etc, I have a virtual tour set up with professional photos in a gallery that is attached. You may view this tour by visiting:

Any and all feedback is welcomed with open arms.

Welcome to AR, Melanie.  I like the video; it would certainly get my attention if I were planning a move to that area. You asked about Realtors not using video to present their properties. It's not just that; many of them don't even do good still photos. And some list properties with no photos at all. It's just a matter of professionalism and dedication to your craft. It's nice to see that some still take their profession seriously. Good luck. I look forward to more posts.

Hi Melanie, Great first post! I loved the video, I think it will attract buyers. I would slow down the sideways pan a little, only because I'm old, I drive slower, too! LOL Thank you, and welcome Melanie!

Hello Melanie!

The 350 degree things make me seasick! But I really like the rest of the show. Very professionally done. You should try doing full motion video where you can voice over with comments. I have been doing this for the past year and my sellers love it.
