The city of Leander has approved the concept plans of approximately 430 multifamily units on 27 acres and 230,000 plus square feet of retail on a total of 53.7 acres. The plans were approved August 17, 2006.
There is no doubt the city of Leander is preparing itself for the grea migration of people. Taking a page from the "if you build it, they will come" philosophy! Once the new mass transit system is in full swing making the commute to down town ~50 minutes and it is expected once the Mopac realignment is moved East to SH130 and the Texas Trans corridor, this trip will be a mere 25 minutes!!!
