As I quickly learned from a few replies to a post regarding potential differences between full service and discount brokers, there is certainly some ill feelings between the two groups. What was a marketing piece targetting the consumer--sharing an array of services that may or may not be included in the discount broker arsenal--was both attacked and cheered for obvious reasons...there is healthy competition between the two groups. Each group has differentiating characteristics that appeal to different kinds of consumers...thus the beauty of the two models.

It's not about ill feelings.  And, there's nothing more beautiful about a discount firm than a full service firm.  Because there is no collusion with respect to commissions- diversity is a right.  The two of you intended to present your advantage, and that is your right.  Where you have to take care is in the mention of any kind of commission or discount to other real estate members, as I'm sure you've discovered.  Present your advantages with skill at a listing presentation- share your opinion of return on the dollar to your consumer- but limit it to that.
