Livin' the Dream

By
Real Estate Agent with KW Commercial Atlanta Partners

I'm very proud of my brother and sister-in-law. They are both hardworking people who love the Lord and all those around them. They have one beautiful daughter and another miracle on the way. They are just terrific people and I love them. They are both 25 years old. Martin(my brother) works as a Cafe Manager at Seattle's Best inside Borders Bookstore and Kristen works for a local church organization.

Needless to say, with a 2 year old running around and baby # 2 on the way, their life together is filled with excitement and adventure. Not the least of which is they just bought their first house.

Ok it's not the biggest house in the world. But, it is the beginning of a new piece of their lives, and, the amount of love and affection that will fill this house is greater than any amount of square footage. They got a really good deal on it, but, when they first got it, it needed a LOT of work. So they hunkered down and got to work. The house looks GREAT! It truly is a beautiful place to raise up their two kids now. I can't adequately describe to you how happy I am for them. The house is just about finished after much hard work and they are gearing up to move in. Living the Dream.

Martin and Kristen may not be financially rich(yet!), but, they are living a RICH LIFE. Of that there is no doubt.

So it's true that this is a Bad market for some. But, for some, for YOU it's a great market to start your new life in. It would be my pleasure and my honor to help you and serve you in any way. Let's talk about your new life and your dream home and the many programs that still exist for first time home buyers.

That first house is seriously exciting.  I remember mine very well.  And it is actually pretty exciting each time (I guess if you move every couple of years it could get old).  Congrats to them and I hope they keep on loving it.

Nick -  I hope you sold it to them!!??     What an exciting time for your Brother's family.  It is a fabulous time to buy and to know that the low prices they benefitted from today will bring monetary wealth to them in the near future.  Until then, they're living the good life of non-monetary riches!!

Best wishes to your brother and family. It is so exciting to be a first-time homebuyer (and to work with them!) It is also very gratifying to see the results of hard work that truly makes a home yours because you did it.

I think they should be proud of themselves buying a fixer for a first property. So many people won't do that because they expect their first house to be the dream home. Like all things in life, you have to work to get to a point. You don't start out as a president of a company, you work your way up to earn jobs like that.

I think they will be very blessed and having two kids under 3 was a challenge, but I think they will find it fun and rewarding...Remember you get to be the favorite uncle (BRING CANDY)
