I'm new to this. What do I do next?
I'm a realtor in Lindale, Texas, which is a small community located north of Tyler, Texas. We are in the East Texas area selling East Texas homes, land, farms and ranches and commercial properties. Most people know this area for the piney woods of East Texas, which is a beautiful place live, work and play!

Alice, welcome! Personally, I just try to let me personality shine through in all my blog posts, so that potential clients see me as a "real person". I try to post information that will help my clients, as well as sharing ideas with other Active Rain members. This is a great place to get advice and ideas, so I recommend taking advantage of that as well as writing your own blog. Best of luck, and have a great 2009!

Welcome Alice! Best thing to do - jump right in and you have. I suggest exploring, reading and commenting on other posts to get the hang of things. Many times when you leave comments for others they will want to explore your blog and interact and exchange thoughts with you. Find some bloggers that you can relate to and who discuss topics of interest and subscribe and just share. I joined in August of 08 and have felt nothing but welcomed and supported by everyone here - it's an amazing place. Hello and I to am new to this. I found the tuturials somewhat helpful, but talking directly with some of the long time members has already been more helpful. I had posted a referral request and could not believe the immediate response and was impressed with the frindly helpful tone from thoses I spoke with.
