Underwriters

By
Real Estate Agent with RE/MAX Select REALTORS LLC

Don't you just wonder what under writers do all day?  I do.  I some times wonder if underwriters actually exist or if Loan Officers use the word "Under Writer" as a fictitious character/ job description  to pacify us.   ;-)

Seriously,  I was supposed to have a closing today at 2:30 and it hasn't happened because we are waiting for the "Under writer" to get back to us as to whether or not they will accept something.  It's been over 48 hrs.  Everything else is in place and the dominoes are falling.   UGh!

They are completely fictional.  It's like when your at the electronics store and your getting the hard sell on a new TV and you tell the guy, "I'm all for it, I just got to check with my wife".

Hi Tammy,
It's true those mysterious "Underwriters" are always the guilty party!

Maybe they are like Gremlins that get blamed for everything that goes wrong!
