The school season does not end for 5 more months, but it is not too early to search for summer employment.

Lake Ridge Middle School on Mohican Road will host the Lake Ridge Parks and Recreation Association's 5th ANNUAL JOB FAIR Saturday March 7, 2009 from 10 AM to 1 PM.

It will be an opportunity for teens to meet and speak with multiple employers at the same time and place..

There will be local employers in attendance as well as representatives from community organizations to discuss volunteer opportunities.

If your firm employs teens age 14 and above you should call the Recreation Department at 703-497-7114 to be included in the Teen Job Fair.

One of the reasons we enjoy Lake Ridge as our home is that there are programs available to serve all members of our community young or old.

Additionally, Lake Ridge is large enough to have advantages that are not normally found in a subdivision

  • Commuter bus and carpool service to the Pentagon, Washington, DC and all National Capital Area work centers
  • Five elementary schools, a middle school and a senior high school in Lake Ridge
  • Three neighborhood shopping centers
  • Fire and rescue facilities in Lake Ridge

The Kruschka Team has 33 years full time experience in the Lake Ridge area. We invite you to try our

NO REGISTRATION LAKE RIDGE HOME FINDER

and then contact Karen and Art by Email or call us at 703-690-6569.  Put our  record of customer service, real estate experience and state-of-the-art technology to work for you in Alexandria, Arlington County, Fairfax County, Prince William County, Stafford County or the entire Northern Virginia Area.

I wish they had something like this for the kids in my area?  Maybe they do and I just haven't heard about it yet...

Wish my son could have attended such an event in Lakeridge? Been living in Stafford County for years and do not recall such an event for our young ones in obtaining jobs during the summer. Stafford County Virginia is a fast growing community and the resources that I checked out said 3 years ago Stafford was ranked as the 12th hightest income county in America and by 2007 the census estimated a population of 124,117 which I know is much higher now and with more businesses moving into the area.
