The 2009 Florida State Fair will take place from February 5th to the 16th at the State Fair Grounds located at 4800 US Highway 301 North, Tampa, Florida 33610.
As usual there will be a mountain of things to keep you occupied ranging from livestock exhibits, competitions, and headline entertainment. Add in the midway and the rides, and you have a day full of fun for a reasonable price.
It is my understanding that advance tickets can be purchased at local Sweetbay Supermarkets. You should check the fair's webpage below to find other places where you can get tickets.
Do be aware that throughout the year other events take place at the fair grounds that may be of interest to you. So you may want to "bookmark" their page so you can return to it. Also, it appears that they do not yet have all of the information about this year's fair on the site (as of 1/9/09). So you may need to return to the webpage in a week or so for the latest information.
