Three to forever or something like that....means more money for you

Before I start let me say I can't spell or punctuate....with that said. I just got done reading a few of your blogs and thought, man there is so much useful info on active rain that one could go blind from reading all day. You (rainers?) put so much into what you write I wish I could spend more time on here reading. by the way you all have saved me money by keeping me off e-bay and put my spare time to good use and I am learning something. imagine that maybe I will finally learn to write...or maybe not...

The last blog I read was basically be yourself and I thought about it for a few minutes and said well I am and have acted this way for a good many years. Some times it was bad but 99% of the time it worked out for the better. You may lose some friends and you may hurt some people but it will strengthen you and them...in the end its for the better..When I'm with buyers that I don't personally know I do try to stay on my best behavior but I don't fake it, I'm real and that's me. If you pretend to be somebody your not they know..Don't try to fool yourself into thinking they don't know because THEY DO KNOW. and it is only going to hurt your real estate business. Remember ONE happy client tells THREE people how well you did and ONE unhappy client tells EVERYONE they know..FOREVER...this is fact, my last job I left because the boss didn't want to help keep the costumers happy after their purchase (I sold cars) remember a happy client means more money for you. So if after meeting a client and the real you don't like the real or fake them don't fake it yourself and risk pissing them off and costing you time and money from future clients (and it will). Just refur them to someone else in your office that you don't see eye to eye with because they will more then likely hit it off with your client better, and you will get something from nothing. And I personally would rather have some then none.....how about you?

If you have read this far thank you for reading my first blog. I hope you get something out of this I have learned so much from all of you in such a short time I just wanted to help out myself. peace Zane

Hi Zane!  Welcome to ActiveRain...I have been on here for a few months now and I love it.  I don't do as much blogging as blog reading but it is so helpful I wish I had more time to spend on this site.

I agree with your comments - you need to be yourself, it's part of being honest and if you don't click with someone, you shouldn't waste your and their time on something that would be a positive experience.

Zane, I think you are discovering what the rain is all about!  and the tip to be your self is so important... and life is to short to work with people you do not like!

Hey, Zane,

Welcome to the AR Network and best of luck!

There's an old saying a wino told me about being yourself, "Be yourself, because that's who you've had the most practice at!"

OK, I didn't get it from a wino. I make it up myself, after drinking too much wine.

Good Luck,

Marty

Hi Zane! I laughed out loud when I got to the part of your post about saving money by staying off ebay. Too much! It is amazing how much falls by the wayside if you start going through these posts. Great stuff, huh?

Well... I just read every single post you ever wrote.  Glad to know you and I don't care at all that you write like you talk.  I understand it perfectly well.
