Boy, things have been tough here for quite a while..I know that real estate is "challanged" pretty much every where right now but what a difference from just a few years ago. As far as properties in foreclosure it is getting worse and worse..
I am hoping with a new presidency we will have fresh start and our economy will start to move forward again..

Karen - from what I've been hearing from a lot of people is that buyers are starting to come out of the woodwork and sellers are starting to list. It'll be interesting to see what the numbers reflect for January 08 vs 09. Historically low interest rates don't hurt, either!
That is certainly promising news and it stands to reason if we can wait this out we will start to see the market rebound. Our MLS does post quarterly data showing current and previous maket statistics and it is indeed a good indicator of where we are heading vs where we were! I have high hopes for our housing market and anticipate the an up swing in the year to come. Lets keepour fingers crossed!!!
