Water, Water, Water & No Salmon Left Behind

Real Estate Agent with Artisan Sotheby's International Realty Lic# 01485329

Yes I know that title probably has you wondering just what the heck I'm writing about today.   Well please read on...

I recently completed the necessary coursework to earn my EcoGreen Agent Certification.   One of the fabulous speakers we had the opportunity to listen to during the series was Brock Dolman, the director of The Water Institute http://www.oaecwater.org/about/water-institute at the Occidental Arts & Ecology Center http://www.oaec.org/ .   Brock's talk  had me mesmerized!   He is a wonderful speaker and oh so easy to listen to & obviously a very smart man.   I recommend anyone anywhere near Sonoma County California that has an opportunity to listen to this man do so.    For anyone who already owns real estate in the area or is planning to some day in the future The Occidental Arts & Ecology center and The Water Institute are both excellent sources of valuable information that is presented in an easy to digest way.

I received an email yesterday with a link to a WATER Institute web video collaboration with filmmaker Ben Zolno and underwater videographer Corby Hines called: Your Salmon Creek!

We are blessed to have some amazing underwater footage to give us all a below-the-scenes look at the historic reintroduction of endangered Coho Salmon to the Salmon Creek Watershed in Sonoma County, CA, where experts reveal why Coho are disappearing, and why you should care...   Salmon Creek empties out into the Pacific Ocean just north of Bodega Bay which is why this footage is especial special to me since Bodega Bay is one of my most favorit places on earth.

Here is a link not only to the video on the Water Institute website.

Watch to see how protecting your home, your land and your family can improve your environment and the endangered species in your area.

Have a look! If you like it - watch it a bunch of times!  And tell your friends to watch it today as well.

Hi Lynn ~ I do not have time to check the links but...how relevant. I had a conversation today with David Milarch of the Champion Tree Project that I suspect was much the same. David talked about all the "dead zones" in the oceans from the lack of oxygen.

So many are focused right now on the rising CO2 levels that we are overlooking the declining oxygen levels. I learned so much talking with Mr. Milarch today. You may be interested in hearing what he is doing to help the oxygen levels. I am not fond of linking into other's posts but I think this is relevant. Champion Tree Project.

I'm bookmarking this to review your video when I have more time!

Can you give a brief synopsis of what one will find in the video? Thanks!
