Rolliing it out in NY because they have just changed their law allowing distance leanring for Prelicensing courses. The last real big state that has not changed their laws.
This is probably the future of all learning. When will colleges and high schools become online schoools?
Well Heath, just about every College and University in the country offer degrees taken entirely online. Most colleges classes taught today us the Internet to assign reading, homework, delivery quizzes and mid-term exams, and even in some cases final exams. The world has changed for sure.
As for Real Estate licensing education online, data supports no significant difference in learning rates, retention of subject matter, and most importantly passing rates on state licensing exams are equal to and exceen in lots of states that which is taught in class.
Of course, the quality of the distance learning (content, delivery system, interactivity, integrety of the timing) make a huge difference.
Bad distance learning exist just like bad inclass education.

Interesting online real estate eduation just became compliant in New York. I've done a good bit of online education and found that I prefer it over the classroom experience. There are fewer interruptions, one has the ability to go back and review and instructors are just an e-mail away.
NY has allowed CE online for over 10 years but, just changed their laws allowing Prelicense courses online.
