I have to tell you all about my hometown. It's small, inconvenient to everything, and hot in the summer and cold in the winter. And...I couldn't think of a place I would rather raise my family. The people and traditions of the town are far more reaching than the "Master Planned Suburbia" anyone could every dream of. This town was once home to 30,000 people, three car dealerships, and was a main stop on the "Old West Highway".
But, anyone who was watched Disney/Pixars "Cars" knows what happens when an interstate moves in. The town stayed alive for a while, but then three devistating floods hit within 15 years. FEMA offered financial assistance, but you could never build there again. The once bustling town is now down to a little over 500 citizens. Those raised there want to move back, but no structured housing development has ever been made available. So two wonderful old men went to work on a subdivision plan. They both worked for the local mine (which employees 70% of the town) as engineers and made a wonderful start of things. One of these dear men recently became sick and between them decided that perhaps they were too old at 75 to start trying to build homes. The subdivision has now been kept alive and well by Clifford Sanders, and is taking lot reservations!
Heritage Estates is a 40-lot subdivision allowing custom home plans and builders to build a home for your family, or let Heritage Estates build it for you. These affordable lots and homes are what is needed to give those of us dreaming of a simple life a place to come home to!
