How do you raise a credit score?

By

I have been doing research and looking at all the ways you raise your credit score.  Pay off credit card debt, pay bills on time, and tons more.  But what can you do if you do not have a balance on credit cards, you paid cash for your car, you do not have a mortgage to pay?  It is a mind boggling question.

I have a client, a great one, that needs help.  They have no credit card debt, no mortgage payment (own their house free and clear), own their cars - paid cash, and bank accounts with balances.  Their are not the norm.

I have referred them to a few lenders and they have not received any help.  Their credit report says they do not have enough credit history.  They are not going to take out a loan for no reason and pay % interest with they are getting little to no interest at the bank.

Does anyone have any advise?  What can you do to get a good credit score with no outstanding debt?

Keep looking at different lenders.  I have met a few that help buyers build credit in a short period of time.  Try Lisa Miers at Capstone Mortgage.  Good luck!
