I May Have 'Retired' as a REALTOR, But I'm Making Lemonade Out Of Lemons!

  A few days ago, I sadly posted a "goodbye" to my friends at Active Rain as I announced my decision to leave the Real Estate profession.  The outpouring of friendship and support was wonderful and overwhelming. Out of this came a suggestion from one of my special friends here, and this is the result of the seed she planted. Thank you, Mary Douglas! I owe you one!

I have been creating slideshows for special occasions such as weddings, etc. since 2006. It is my creative outlet, and something I very much enjoy doing. I utilize a variety of software programs, including Photoshop, to create special effects, have the ability to 'fix' most photo problems, and use a top of line slideshow production program that allows me to render a show in a variety of formats, such as .avi, .flv, .mov, and more. Hi Debi-I'm the new kid on the block at Active Rain(2 weeks today) and enjoying it thoroughly. I read  this post and your previous post. As someone who is familiar with how tough the market is from what I hear from other realtor friends. It is very difficult when you love what you do but have to make a change to survive. It looks like through the support of friends and your wonderful talents that you have reinvented yourself and truly turned lemons into lemonade. I wish you the best of luck in your new endeavors. From what I can see you are going to splendidly. Look forward to reading more of your blogs.

Bonjour Mlle Boucher - That was a very (I would underline "very" except the taskbar is missing :( nice presentation!! Love the music, the transitions, and love the house too! I had to laugh at Gary W's comment about a short retirement. So the gang's all here and into 2009 we go....wherever it takes us....and at this moment I really don't know?!? BUT we'll share in the whatever :-)
