Client Party

By
Real Estate Agent with Sundance Realty

I had a client party last Saturday at my house.  We had cinnamon rolls and coffee for the ladies I had helped in real estate.  It was a small turn out, but we had a very nice time.  I also heard from several ladies that were not able to make it so my effort was worth it.  I think that the next activity will be a backyard barbecue this summer for familes.  That sounds like fun.  I forgot to take a couple of pictures so will remember that the next time.  I think at the barbecue it would be nice to also invite the other professionals involved in the transactions.  The lenders, escrow officers, inspectors etc.  I would like to do this in my backyard to make it more personal, but I could have it at a park as well. I am listening to the information on the BLITZ and gearing up for that for 90 days.  It should be fun and challenging.  Hope there are alot of us involved in that so we can encourage each other!

Good for you -- sounds like lots of fun!  A charity that I am involved with of hosts a annual picnic and we have it at the south end of Bush Park.  It has always been a wonderful spot, but may lack intimacy and cohesiveness if your group is not huge.  Thinking your backyard isn't big enough?  Perhaps one of your associates would be interested in cohosting and using their larger yard.  I know you can rent the gazebo at waterfront park and Deepwood estate gardens as well which both would be fun spots!

Client parties are a great way to keep the relationship strong and lasting.  Good luck on the BBQ.

Joni, events like these take a lot of time and effort.  And usually money too.  It's wonderful that you value your clients and were willing to do this for them.  I like your idea of using your back yard, that makes it very personal and hopefully will encourage their loyalty to you.  Plus with lenders and escrow agents, it will be great for them to see your professional team "outside" of the business office.  Thanks for posting your article at http://activerain.com/groups/virtualoffice

Very nice!  Have you scheduled these every quarter for the rest of this year?  Consistency with these events is very important.  People will learn to look forward to your events and then, bring their friends & more referrals!

It's a Good Life!
