Contractor for Hire: Beware

By
Home Builder with NOVA Pros

Is Mr. Plumber there? This is Ms. Leever. Mr. Plumber was here yesterday and gave me an estimate on my bathroom remodeling job. He said that he would call me back this afternoon to schedule the project. What? He doesn’t work for you! But I gave him a deposit already. He said he needed to check with his boss about the next available start date. You’ve never heard of him, huh? Well, I guess I am out $1,500. Thank you for your time.

Is this your story? Please go to http://www.novapros.com to read our featured article about some major warning signs so this doesn't happen to you.  Feel free to register and leave comments there too.

Thank you to all who visited yesterday.  You really helped to bring our numbers up for the day.

Please let me know if there is a home improvement suggestion you have or have a question about so I can research for you and post the answer and maybe an article.

Thanks for clicking,

Allison

This one I really had to share, because I have come across just those exact contractors, and had wished for a list such as this.

Thanks for reading.
