With this post, I'm shattering the 10,000 point barrier!

Well....

Maybe 10,001 points isn't exactly shattering.  :)

Anyway, Jason, I'm putting you on notice.

I might be 433,695 points down.

But I have momentum!

 

Well, that sure didn't work out the way I planned it!

I forgot that you get 200 points for a post.

I was thinking you only got 25 points, but that's for a comment.

I guess I'll have to pay more attention to points, from now on, maybe....

So.

What do you think about the rusty dinosaur?  LOL

Take your time reaching 400,000 because the enjoyment of the "rain" is your real reward.  On second thought the points are rewarding as well.  I would like to meet the people who have this T-Rex in their backyard....

Bruce, that is how I started out.  Alot of imbission.. George Souto got me addicted to this site.  He was #2 in the state of Connecticut when I started.. and he still is.  I was number 1729... I know you are laughing at this.  Guess what.. I'm now number 3.  Look out George.  So, Jason, watch out.. in time Bruce will be on your heals too.

Thanks Eileen!  I'm slow, but I have momentum.  Old "Rusty" is one of the funniest dinosaurs I've ever seen.  :)

Bruce --- I'm trying to reach a milestone, too. I'm 5,000 points short of 100,000. I think I was motivated by trying to reach the number 1 in my city. So I was chasing the number 1 and number 2 and number 3 and number 4.....

But I hung in there.

I read in a post to try and post a blog 10 times a week, and give 10 comments a day. So I aimed for that. And before I knew it, the numbers started adding up. And I finally made it to number 1 in my city. But golly gee, it's still a competition to stay there.

So I will comment on your blogs to help you reach your goal. 10,000? Next goal: 20,000.

Congrats on your #1 ranking!  I don't care about points.  It's hopeless.  I couldn't catch Jason in 20 YEARS!  I'm just enjoying meeting all the great people, plus learning much more than I ever would have thought possible for an old guy.  The funny thing is that I will soon have the most points for my city, unless some people wake up and start blogging again, and I'm not even licensed yet.  :)

Hey Bruce, if you use the 'AR channels' when you post, you get 225, not 200, for a post. There you are! Now you'll be able to catch up to Jason that much quicker! ;)
