Managers, Team Leaders, Trainers and Industry Professonals-Do You Use Feedburner?

Services for Real Estate Pros with Talk 2 Midori, LLC BK645709

Ahhh yes..Its a training lesson!

I imagine that some managers, team leaders and trainers may already have this system in place.

I for one..will admit...I did not take action until yesterday.

Not a bad thing...I just didn't think about it..until we were in our sales meeting.

I went over information on the yahoo real estate white pages!

I compared the statistics with NAR technology habits of REALTORS and statistics of buyers and a sellers.

They were at awe and many asked for their own copy of the yahoo white pages.

And it made me realize...

Some weren't reading my blogs.... what can I do about it?

I CAN DO PLENTY...With Feedburner

I subscribed all of my blogs!

Not before an email warning them this will be happening and reminded them they have the choice to subscribe or not!

If they chose to hit subscribe..they would receive my posts in their email every time I posted.   It worked.. New CENTURY 21 Sundance Realty Subscribers!

Why didn't I think of this sooner?  It got me thinking...Could this work for you?

The Real Estate Industry Professional?  With Your Sphere Of Influence

Could you not use this as an additional method to touch your sphere?  Maybe you are doing it already...or maybe some of you view it as...

Is it any different than inviting people to join you in all of the social networks available to mankind?

Or send those email listings to everyone on the planet?

Are our blogs any different?

No I don't think so!

Feedburner does not feel so intrusive those you care about...the option to subscribe or not!

Do you use feedburner and invite your sphere to join your own personal social network?

If you post..on a regular basis...

That is exactly what your blog is...your very own social network!

Your own community!

Midori - I completely agree with your approach and thoughts on this.  Feedburner is less intrusive and it is just like inviting or being invited on social networks.  For that matter - blogs too.   I absolutely use this tool and I also make sure that my website, blog and every possible way of contacting me is on my email, blog, website and all my marketing materials.  Keep spreading the great word Midori - love reading your posts and always leave feeling good and informed.  ~Anne Marie (ps. have your people call my people - lol:)

Midori - someone doesn't read your blogs. They need horsewhipped, but I guess you can make do with Feedburner. Great idea.

Ok I use Feedburner. Are you saying you sent out an email asking people that were on C21Sundance to subscribe to your blogs via email?  Did you do it from the site or a separate email?

Hi Missy-I decided that since I provide information and share it nationwide that my crew should be reading..and some do not!  So I sent an email warning them...and then one by one I took their email address and subscribed them to my blogs...and yes now I have additional CENTURY 21 Sundance Realty associates subscibing to my blog..and some have already figured out...if only they followed...they might have learned about somethings...a little faster...why

Everyone's comments!

Could you do this with your sphere????  I believe you should...but I would send a know how some might view it as spam!  Then take the addresses because you already have them...and because it is people you touch on a regular basis...why not include a subscription to your blog!

Ok you so just subscribed them and then if they don't want to keep they can unsubscribe? I get it, well as a trainer in your company I would imagine it  is something they had planned to do and got on the back burner.

Missy-some do and some don't and its fine with me...just like consumers...and our peers!  I think really though many times the questions they ask me is written in my blog...but to me its not about the posts and what I write...its the interractions that take place and the great wealth of info found in our blog comments.

I also think being face to face with them most of the time...they prefer that way...and maybe they take it for granted...I am ok with that too!  But this year my thoughts are different and am very well focused...and I had to find a get to all of them at their leisure...there are days I do several one on ones...and someone is left out...never enough hours in the day!  That is why I subscribed them all to my blog!

It is tough trying to keep up with all the new technology.  Thanks, something new to look at.

All the best!

I would subscribe people I was training like that, but I might balk at that as a consumer.  I do use feedburner and invite people (although I need to do it more consistently) to subscribe to my blogs...  Thank you for reminding me.
