Last Tuesday, I received a call from Michelle from Countrywide home loans, and she advised me she received approval from upper management for my short sale package without and promissory note or a cash requirement from the seller. My sellers are very excited as they have heard all the horror stories, how hard it is to get done a countrywide home loans short sale. I can say this is not the only BANK SHORT SALE acceptance I have received from Countrywide. I have a very good understanding of what they required for a short sale and understand how they measure their requirements for approvals.
I would suggest to anyone that is behind in their mortgage payments to consider doing a bank short sale and avoiding foreclosure proceedings and having this on your credit report for years to come. Banks more and more are considering doing a Bank short sale verse costly foreclosure proceedings.
