I started a buyer class this last week, I was surprised with the turn out 4 people showed up and we had a great time. I was surprised by one couple that said they where working with another local agent for 4 months trying to find that perfect home. They where the couple that asked the most questions; when I start working with a buyer one of the things I go over with them is the steps to buying a home. I thought all agents would take the time to walk their clients thought the processe?

Tell me more about your class. Is it on-going (you say you started it last week)? I'm more familirar w/a one day seminar.

1st-time buyers are great to work with because many are like sponges and are looking for as much info as you can give. We have to always be aware of the fact that we do this everyday but they don't. I think sometimes agents forget this...

Yes, I'm going to have these class's once a month, it runs about 1 1/2 hrs and I have a Loan officer, some one from a title office and a home inspector. I just wanted to get more information out there because of these HGTV programs these buyers and sellers have some information that just does not work everywhere.

I've been teaching home buyer classes for 18 years.

It's been a great way to educate first time buyers, who need to learn about the home buying process. I currently teach them about 10 times per year and am able to work with some of the class attendees.
