Broomfield is looking for volunteers to help out with the annual "Broomstock" event on June 7. Apparently it is the last day of school and they expect about 2,000 teens ages 16 and up to attend the event which is geared towards providing a safe, drug free environment for kids to celebrate the last day of school.
The event will feature food, pop, games/activities and more teen bands than you can shake a stick at.
The city needs volunteers from noon to 9 p.m. and you can work as little or as long as you'd like. They specifically need folks to help with trash, hand out food, and keep people from rushing the stage when the bands are playing.
If you want to volunteer call Liane at 303.464.5876.
