I've been pondering this for the past few days and I can't let it go.
Why is this man considered black? Isn't he just as white? Are we clinging to an antiquated notion that was law during slavery? If you were 1/8 black, you were black by law. What's up with that? It seems to me that we are simply perpetuating racism by the mere fact that we continue to identify people in such a way. I'm human. Aren't you?
