Mitchell, That picture is priceless!  They are all so well behaved.  What a job that must be, he's got one heck of a lot of dogs there.

Hi Mitchell...Amazing.  Some of us cannot get one dog to sit still.

Some of those dog walkers (yes, I've seen them in NYC and in Buenos Aires also) handle so many dogs beautifully.  I would be so twisted up in leashes it would be a riot.

I was just wondering....If a visitor came to NYC and checked into a hotel, where would you take the dog to pee? Especially if there is no grass anywhere? My dog wouldn't know what to do without it being nearby. LOL

Dogs

Cute faces!

James, Usually the dogs pull the walkers, but this guy is so laid back he's not even paying attention to the them

Sharon, I would have all the leashes tangled in 2 minutes

Carole, Thanks, I would never let go of the leashes on a busy street like that. He must speak to them in their language.

Kate, Me too, Sometimes you see two dog walkers crossing the street in opposite directions - always a great scene.

Rich, They sure are acting more like cats.

Steve, I know, not a peep out of any of them, they were hanging there for a while it was lunch time.

Lizette, Pet-friendly hotels include the London NYC, the W hotels in New York City, the Loews Regency, the SoHo and TriBeCa Grand Hotels, the Waldorf Towers, the Carlyle and the Hilton Times Square.

Pet-friendly department stores include Bergdorf Goodman, Bloomingdale's and Saks Fifth Avenue; the pet-friendly Time Warner Center at Columbus Circle (where the Bouchon Bakery sells "foie gras-enriched dog biscuits").

There are also several pet-friendly salons like Le Chien in Trump Plaza on Third Avenue; a pet-friendly pub, the Brooklyn Ale House in Williamsburg; and New York's Pet Taxi, a company that transports pets.

There is usually some grass because there are trees planted throughout the city. He would learn to pee on fire hydrants and side walks like all the other dogs. lol. If he poops you have to clean up after him it's the law. LOL

That is a pack of dogs.... great photo.

My one and only pulls me on walks... I could never do that on the streets of any city.

Oh my god!  Nobody is holding their leashes!  If Willie were in that bunch they'd be all over Manhatten in a second!

Mitchell, thanks for all the useful info if I plan a NYC trip. Chanel is a little girl dog and I've yet to ever see her pee on a sidewalk. I think we might be in trouble if she holds it in till we get home. LOL
