That cat looks awfully suspicous of the picture-taker. I wonder why...  (Perhaps because the kitty is now called "skitty kitty??)  hahahahaha

Tammy:  What beautiful colors your cat has!  With five in the house, you'd think I'd have something similar in the way of color, but nothing like yours.  Just beautiful.

I love her!  I hat a calico cat for about 15 years as a young woman and she was very skittish.  My best friend though from about 8 or 9 years old to about 22 or 23.  Great cat.

Skitty came to us via one of my friends who found her as about a six or seven week old kitten that her dog had cornered under her car.  She came to my door and said "should I take her to the shelter?"  Well I took skitty from her hand and petted and her and then put her down on my porch.  She ran to our wood pile.  We fed her there for days and eventually moved the food closer and closer until one day she tip toed inside to eat, we slammed the patio door behind her and the rest is history.  She really only loves my husband, thus the "why are you pointing the camera at me?" look.  My friends who visit don't get to meet her. My critter sitter who fed my cats while we were away for our last two week vacation NEVER even saw her.  My friend Mary said I rented a cat to take this photo.  She has been coming to my house once a month for lunch and cards for years and have NEVER seen her.  She hides under the bed when someone knocks on the door and comes out after they have gone.

My other two cats are very friendly and outgoing.

Tammy.. It looks like Skitty Kitty is (excuse me) pissed off.  I have this feeling that she was in no mood for having a photo taken that day.  Am I right?

Hi Tammy, She looks like a pumpkin.  I have a particular fondness for cats with prominent features like hers.  Love the story of how you coaxed her from the woodpile.  Thanks for introducing her - maybe I will intro my pumpkin, Champ, next Wednesday.

I thought the post said something else, too, and was wondering, "Hey, how did Tammy get away with that?" Followed by, "How can I get away with that?" LOL.

Oh Skitty is mostly harmless.  I have gotten the occassional claw if someone makes a loud noice while she is perched in my lap or if she dog barks while I'm petting her, but mostly she's just a scardy cat and very sweet.

Tammy - There's a cutie!  She reminds me of a kitty one of seller's had.  She crawled under the comforter of a bed and would stay there when anyone came over.  You would see the bump in the bed and she would not move!
