Brighton Green - Newburgh's Surprisingly Affordable New Home Community

Did you know that many new home buyers who look at new homes on their own aren't fully aware of similar, nearby new home communities before they purchase their new home? Imagine putting down $30,000 and paying thousands in closing costs, moving into your new home and then finding out you could have had a larger home in a more convenient location if you knew where to look.

That scenario happens a lot more often than I originally believed and there's a reason for it. Take for example my new home community of Brighton Green. Over the past few years we have had numerous homeowners who lived in neighboring communities sell their barely lived in homes to move into Brighton Green.

Why are they selling?

They didn't know about Brighton Green before they bought their home in the other communities.

So here's what you should know about Brighton Green:

Brighton Green is a neighborhood of just 154 townhouses with over 70% of the community already finished. Residents of Brighton Green have access to a 3,000 sqft clubhouse with a fitness center, game room (billiards, cards) and a social space perfect for hosting family gatherings and business parties. Outside of the clubhouse are the swimming pool and playground.

Homeowners love living in Brighton Green. But I think the well placed parking for guests and family and four different style three bedroom townhouses may have something to do with why residents love living in this neighborhood.

It could also be how affordable Brighton Green townhouses are. For example, the Aylesford model is priced from the low $300s which includes options considered upgrades in other communities like Corian countertops and options not found in other models like a walk-in coat closet.

But here's a sad truth about Brighton Green... During the first week of January almost half of our move-in ready homes found homeowners. Many home buyers who waited until after the holidays were over were disappointed to learn that the move-in ready home they were interested in had been sold.

So I talked with Pulte, the builder behind Brighton Green about what we could do to help the home buyers who waited too long to make a move on a home in the final phase of Brighton Green and the builder agreed to give home buyers looking at the few remaining move-in ready homes some amazing deals.
