Health Insurance on My own or from work?

Services for Real Estate Pros with Policy Online

That is a tricky question but I always suggest getting your own individual or family policy. Here is a scenario. Lets say you are on your group plan with your family. You get sick and have a castastrophic event happen where you must leave your work. You will have 3 options. Get on cobra which the premium is through the roof. Your family will now have no insurance or search for a major medical plan on your own but If you have an issue now your uninsurable for life. Dont wait until the last minute. I get phone calls all day long with people getting laid off from there 9-5 position and now can't get insurance because of a pre existing condition. You may even be healty but a drug youare taking can get you uninsurable. Do your research now and protect your assets and family. Group insurance is not always cheaper and a better way. I received a phone call from someone the other day looking for life insurance because he has been with his company for 20 years and they were down sizing. His life insurance was going to get cancelled and needs a new policy. His premium for a $250,000 policy was $34 a month from his employer. Now his premium for the same policy $579 per month. Why well he is now 63 and has a couple minor condition nothing major but look at it this way. Would you lend a person $250,000 knowing he has the max of 20-25 years life span. This is a risk. How can you avoid this? Get life insurance and plan your future. Protect your family and assets
