It is now 3.5 months and the Ocwen Mortgage short sale looks like it may close tommorrow.
If all the mortgage companies work like this one, then we will have a long long way before we get throught this short sale peorid. the Tampa real estate market is flooded with short sales. This means they will have to be dealt with on a constant basis.
The "retention department" should be placed on commission. That would spur the effeciency factor. There is no sense of urgentcy with the dozens of different people I talked to during this process.
Currently on another case, I talked to "Susan" with JP MORGAN CHASE and she actually helped. Got approval, after documentation, in less than a week!
Realtors will get this job done and get the housing market healty again.
