We are only 22 days into 2009 and I have leased my last rental property. I have over 60 homes that I property manage. I consider this a sign that the rental market in my area is starting to get better. Rental prices tanked over the past year. Once demand exceeds supply we should start seeing rental rates going up. Now wouldn't that be wonderful.

That's surprising to me that rental prices tanked last year.  You would think with all the people losing their homes that it would drive rental prices up.  Shows you what I know!
