This past month I lost the lising of 2 condo shortsales and representing a buyer who could hurt himself by ultimately ending up with 2 house payments. It just looked like it was not in their best interest. So I referred the condo. owner to a property management agency to rent out her two units and I advised the buyer to try to sit tight until his house sold, and then pursue looking for his new home. I wish the general public new how many hours we work pro bono. Perhaps there would be a higher level of respect for real estate agents.
