I have been meaning to write a tribute post to the awesomeness of Active Rain, but even for me, I had a hard time finding the words to express myself. To me, Active Rain is about the wide variety of voices of people in the real estate industry and also consumers who choose to comment on their thoughts. The membership now has soared past 130,000. But as you develop a core 10, 50, or 100 people who get to know you better and interact with you regularly you will see that

We Are The Children Of Active Rain.

We are all VERY TALENTED here. Even the newbies. We all are very respectful as well. It is amazing.

But it is the sharing of the smiles, the sharing of the knowledge, getting to know when someone's family dog or cat or family member or close friend passes away, that gives an emotional touch, a connection to another human being.

I couldn't find the words to pay tribute to all these beautiful people I found, but I did find a song. Imagine all the voices here on Active Rain you know and love. Then put their faces and voices in this song and video. You will always recognize a face with a voice.

It's interesting that lately, I've run across quite a few posts, from Rainers who are voicing their appreciation of the friendships they've made here. And I say it's interesting because with so many changes happening, I'm afraid we're going to lose some of those people that we've befriended. You are totally correct the amount of sharing is AMAZING. You don't really realize it until you look back on your accomplishments and gathered knowledge over the last year. And it's SHARED knowledge. If you want to know how to do something, ask someone on AR, need any kind of help or bounce off ideas - ask someone on AR. It is a great sharing community!
