15 Reasons Why I Dislike MEMEs, Am I Alone?
- My understanding of this phenomenon was that it was intended to be a get to know yaw event. Not to pester members...
- Most members ignore your tag so the whole MEME was futile...
- Most members regard MEMEs as Spam...
- MEMEs waste bandwidth ...
- MEMEs are worthless for SEO...
- The comments you receive are usually from the person who tagged you (A pity Comment)
- They are one step below a chain letter...
- When you choose to tag someone it usually alienates that person from ever contacting you again...
- If you want to receive MEMEs you should join their group...
- When I received my last tag, it was from a person I really respect and enjoy reading, but now I hate to comment due to the tag...
- It was funny the first time but it's now kind of a sad old joke that has lost its humor...
- You can't opt out...
- With 742 members of this group http://activerain.com/groups/memes I would think they could meme each other till the cows come home...
- I think people who start a meme tag do so because they're having a post block and can't think of anything to write about...
- Do you want to chase away new members, tag them! The MEME's are attacking the Newbies..... BEWARE, you might be next....
I guess I just had to get this off my chest.
I am preparing to feel the wrath of MEME!
Does anyone else feel the same way too? Am I alone?
