You may be thinking.....a massage therapist for my cat?  Well....what about humans?

Its amazing the professions I come across through social networking!  I came across a lady tonight in one of my LinkedIn groups for house swapping, and she is a professional massage therapist for humans and animals.  I couldn't help but laugh out loud!  As I read her profile, it went on to say that she works with "animal athletes" and zoo animals and is based in Seattle

Anyway, I'm really thinking towards massage and vacation.

I'm thinking beach and warm.  I've got my eye on a few places - Turks & Caicos, Bahamas, Key West, Cancun, St. Barths, Maui, Puerto Rico, and the Dominican Republic.  So hard to choose!

Hmmm....as I search for the best rental deals in the Caribbean for under $100 bucks, I found 24 properties on Viscape.  The ones without pictures....just one....easy elimination.  I have no idea why people think marketing something online without pictures will generate interest.  So, now we're down to 23 properties.

The cheapest one - Joya de la Bahia - is in the Dominican Republic for $36 dollars per night or $250 per week!  Is this for real?  Its beautiful!  OMG!  3 bedrooms!  Unbelieveable!

Another one that caught my eye is the Studio in Dawn Beach in St. Martin for $41 per night.  The only issue with this one is that it appears to rent for the full month.  Bummer!  But amazing view!

The Mariza residence in the Dominican Republic goes for $49 per night.  The picture looks fantabulous!  Is it true that the Dominican is this cheap?

Moondance villas in Jamaica go for $86 per night.  They look really cute too.  The grounds alone with koi ponds, fountains, and sculpture gardens sound amazing!

Hmmm...and then I got to thinking about a house swap.  I found this cute little house in the Dominican "Caribbean Beauty" with an incredible view.  It goes for $98 per night on a rental.  I love the veranda with the view.

The Nanny estate apartments in the Dominican look amazing as well.  I like that it looks like a California-Spanish style newish place.  Goes for $79 per night, so also a deal.

The Bahama house in Key West also looks very nice.  Gosh 3 bedrooms for $250 per night during high season.  Of course, the monthly price works out to $132 per night, so it doesn't really fit the criteria on a closer look.

The Ferryboat Inn in Anguilla won me over with its beautiful snow white powdered beach in front.  Wow!  $99 per night!  Looks incredible!

St. Somewhere in St Thomas USVI is gorgeous!  I love the colorful gardens out front.  And it only goes for $63 per night!  Fully loaded with all kinds of flatscreens!

The Surf 787 Guest Villa in Puerto Rico also looks really great for $98 per night.  Its doesn't seem quite as nice as some of the other choices though.

The Simpson Bay corner in St. Martin for $59 per night looks nice.  However, you're stuck renting it for a full month, which is not an option.

I love the pool with a view at the Villa Verda Pelican Key in St. Martin.  And that one is $82 per night.  Shoot!  That one is priced for the month too!  No can do.  My boss will kill me!

La Punta Apartments in the Dominican seems nice, but just not resort-looking enough.  The price for $52 per night isn't bad.  It just may not be the place for me on vacay.

Reinita del Mar in Puerto Rico has a nice view.  But why oh why do we not include a picture of the the house?  Its priced reasonably at $86 per night.  The beach....well .  I definitely prefer the turquoise waters.

All in all - I think the frontrunner is the Caribbean beauty in the Dominican simply because of the veranda with the view.  That is where I want to spend a lot of time.....peering out on the sunset and being up high with a view.  I like that its so close to activities and the owner appears to be flexible between renting or swapping.
