Lazarus~

CitiBank has good taste in aeronautics!

I guess the share holders may have a few questions about this "investment".

Mott --- SHAREHOLERS?  Screw the shareholders.  The shareholder didnt put up 45 billion to bail out these bastards -- the GOVT did and they using YOUR MONEY AND MINE TO DO IT.  Who gives a shit what the shareholders think.

Lazarus - Funny how the same rules don't apply to everyone.  If we lose a business, we lose a business.  If we can't pay the bills, we're out of luck and out of business.  These bail outs are saving the super rich so that they can continue their same practices without changing lifestyles!  And the fact that there's no oversight or plan for the money when our government gives it away - just like throwing $$$$ down that proverbial black hole!  Where is our bail out?

What is up with this.  I saw a article in which they mentioned a CEO spending 35000 on a commode and this particular company just received bail out money.  Forgive me but I am not so interested in bailing out a commode.

You know, the serious answer to that question is NO!  It was a rhetorical statement.

We pay our bills, don't spend beyond our capabilities, and work hard for our money.  We have to make $$$ plans and be accountable.  If we do something new in business with a new price tag to it, usually a current expense has to go!

I just resent supporting those who 'don't' and aren't accountable - and are flagrant about it!  I don't mind helping those who 'can't' - you know the difference!

Nice plane!  Looks like Citigroup has it made with the government!  Have a great day!

Out of Real Estate

This continues to show that we are being told what we want to hear, but behind closed doors, the same things keep going on.

Stop doing business with Citibank.

stretch

it really ticks me off that the government would allow a bailout without any overseeing of where OUR money goes.  some execs of these banks are making 28 million a year in saleries.  there are hardworking people all over who make 10.00 an hour AND still need food stamps and WIC to survive.  in my opinion, the bailout without any government oversight was wrong.
