Well, if you haven't heard about it yet, there's a program out there that's worth the price of admission. I'm talking about "nfsti" The National Foreclosure Sales Training Institute.
My partner, James Dunkelman and I attended their seminar on January 15th and 16th in Henderson, Nevada. It was hard to pull myself away from the day to day business at hand, not to mention the family but we decided in order to stay with the pack, you have to be running with it.
Well what a surprise it was. From the minute the program began at 8:00 AM through 5:00 PM is was both entertaining, informative and inspiring. There was an abundance of great information, not just from the Moderators but from some in attendance that are already reaping the benefits of listing REO's properties.
The class covered everything from the basic support staff needed to handle the REO's, software programs to support time demands, finance and budget. Creating a support staff, and the myriad other details necessary in operating a smooth running business model.
The technology aspects were of particular interest to me as they will take us into the future and that future is no. From marketing properties, Blogging, News releases and sites to develop presence in the marketplace. ( yes, ActiveRain ) as well as a few others.
There were two asset managers, one in person and the other through the use of Video Conferencing to give the meats and potatoes of what they look for in making their assignments.
If you can pull yourself away for a few days, I highly recommend this program. You can pass the test when its over and even add a designation to your resume.
They have two sites you can visit www.NFSTI.com or Info@NFSTI.com. Their phone number is (877) REO-7997.
And no, I'm not on staff, just sharing what has excited me.
