Ashley Furniture Store Is Reopening

The Ashley Furniture HomeStore at 108 Harbison Blvd. in Columbia has reopened.  After closing late last year the new owners, Jonathan Ishee and Charlie Malouf, are optimistic about this location.

Ishee and Malouf have been successful with their 9 other Ashley Furniture stores in North and South Carolina.  I wish them well with this location.  There have been too many retailers close up shop recently and it is good to see a high profile business move back into the area.

Thanks for the well wishes, Terry.  We are excited to be in Columbia and look forward to being the first choice in furniture in the Midlands.

Appreciate the comments, Terry.  This is an exciting location for us and our first in the Columbia, SC (midlands) market.

Great work Fellas. True Pioneers plow in good times and bad. Keep stimulating the economy and pressing on. Hope the Lord blesses your new shop.

This just goes to show you that small businesses are still the lifeblood of the American economy. Small businesses arent as affected by the downward pressure of capitol markets and leverage that fuel major corporations growth. While large companies are laying off employees, backing out of leases, and closing their doors, small businesses like these are providing much needed jobs and energy into our American cities and local economies.

Congrats on the store.  This is a prime place for a retailer as such.  Now all the Harbisson shoppers and Columbia residents need to make their way down!

Great Job guys.  Its a beautiful store and you should be successful.. As long as you are smarter than that re+ard Corey Baker.  That guy was a expletive moron/thief.  Hopefully you can turn around the tainted Ashley reputation he has left in that market.
