Leisure World of Maryland boasts two very similar condo/co-op apartments: the Sherwood and Staunton models. These two studio apartments have 635 square feet of living space and are located on the ground floor of some garden apartments. The units come with a sliding glass door that opens onto either an enclosed porch or a patio.
The basic difference in the models is in the heating and air conditioning plants. The Sherwoods come with baseboard heat and wall mounted air conditioners . The Stauntons have forced air heat and central air conditioning. In some cases, the previous owner has converted an archway into a wall thus creating a separate bedroom from the rest of the home.
In all cases, the condo or co-op fee includes electricity and basic cable.
