Realtor Magazine, a publication of the National Association of Realtors, is  seeking nominations for its eighth annual Good Neighbor Awards, which recognize agents whose volunteer work has enhanced and improved their communities.

"The Good Neighbor Awards program highlights the volunteer work that Realtors across the country are quietly doing to help others in their communities," said NAR President Pat Vredevoogd Combs. "These people don't expect any recognition, but they certainly deserve the spotlight. I'm proud that the Good Neighbor Awards allow NAR to honor some of the many Realtors who strengthen their communities through volunteer work."

Judges will choose five winners, who will be highlighted in November's Realtor Magazine and recognized at the 2007 Realtors Conference & Expo in Las Vegas, November 12 through 16. Winners will receive travel expenses to the conference, national media exposure for their community cause, and a $10,000 grant. In addition to the winners, five honorable mentions will each receive a $2,500 grant. Last year's program drew more than 300 entries.

"We hope the magazine's Good Neighbor Awards will inspire all of NAR's 1.3 million Realtors to help improve the quality of life in their communities," said Pamela Geurds Kabati, Realtor Magazine's editorial director. "This award program is fundamentally about calling attention to how one person can make a difference."

Good Neighbor Awards entries must be received by May 25. For more details and a nomination form, call      800-874-6500, or visit www.realtor.org/realtormag and click the Good Neighbor button.
