East Lincoln Animal Hospital- This animal hospital saved Hannah's life. When I found out that she had developed an allergy to "plaque" on her teeth and gums, and it was killing her, I scoured the internet looking for someone/some place that had tackled this problem before. This place is the BEST vet I have ever been too and this is my story.

I didn't want to trust anyone with my dog's life. I had already spent over $1500 with another vet on antibiotics, and removing teeth. My dog had 14 teeth removed already and she was in pain and her mouth was inflamed with infection. She was whining every day and her breath was foul. Drool everywhere. I was so freaked out.

Then I was blessed.

I found this animal hospital on the internet. Open since 1978. It even had the old original sign out front from years ago. Miles and miles away from Mooresville, clear on the other side of the lake. I called and one of the 9 vets had experience in this disease (periodontal stomatitis) and could see my baby the next DAY!

We were greeted by the Vet, Dr. Kirk Carroll and he was one of the most pleasant people I have ever met. I had so many complaints, concerns, questions, and he took the time to listen to all of them. He looked at her and knew right away that we needed to extract all her teeth to get full relief.

Hannah is a cocker and she is 8 years old and I just couldn't understand. Why now? Dr. Carroll answered all my questions, found me a bunch of information on the disease, made us an appointment for the next day and squeezed her into the schedule. He even gave her some good pain medicine. He was worried about how my dog was feeling!! I have not had vets so concerned and I had been to many!

Dr. Carroll ended up extracting like 30 more teeth. He even saved them for me, but I of course didn't want to keep them. He called me EVERY day to check on my dog after the surgery. They gave me plenty of pain meds, and antibiotics to do the job.

Hannah is fully recovered now. She had more problems with the stitches a couple weeks later causing inflammation, but they saw her right away, removed the stitches, and ONLY charged me for some extra antibiotics and they had to put her to sleep to get the stitches out!

This place is amazing. The staff is so wonderful, they are open amazing hours, and I got to meet some other clients in the lobby with their animals and everyone was so pleased with their services there.
