In Memory of Sophie......

By
Real Estate Agent with RE/MAX Advantage South

It breaks my heart to share this with you.....

I have struggled about whether to post about this, but since I sent out a plea for help to bring Sophie home, now that her fate is known I feel I should share with those of you that were concerned about her when she became missing.

If you missed my earlier post, here it is.

After many days and hours of searching, my friends finally found Sophie, deceased, in the river less than a mile from their home.  There is still no sign of Brian, the little white dog.

The circumstances of Sophie and Brian's (Brian is still missing) disappearance are still suspicious, and foul play is suspected.

ISN'T SHE BEAUTIFUL?

Oh Ann...this is horrible. I am so sad that Sophie is dead, but it is even more disturbing to think that someone intentionally harmed her. I am so sorry. She is beautiful!! ~GBU~

Oh Ann, I am so truly sorry for the loss of beautiful Sophie and missing Brian. They are part of our family and thanks for sharing at this time of grief. It is awful if this is from foul play. I am thinking of you and know how you feel. Every time we lost our pets it was truly a bad day.

Ann, how very sad that someone could have possibly been responsible for this! I hope they're caught soon. Our pets are like family and it is so sad when they're no longer here. Prayers for you and your family.

Ann - This is terrible news, and my heart goes out to you!  I've been in the same position of losing a pet under suspicious circumstances.  It adds more pain to that already felt.

She is indeed Ann. Perhaps your friends can at least not worry any longer. Grieving the lose of a pet is a difficult thing. Give them our best .

I'm so, so sorry, Ann...my heart just hurts for Sophie's family...my very first AR post was about my dog that had gone missing...I never did see her again. For months, I felt very alone in my sadness...I missed that happy face that was aways so glad to see me every day---and nothing has replaced that. I hope they won't feel so alone...I'm keeping a hug in my heart for them, anytime it's needed. This is really sad, but I'm glad you let the readers know...and I'm glad for the opportunity to offer care and support to Sophie's owners.

Ann! That is so sad and tragic.  I don't know how I missed the "missing" post but I just hate the thought that it is suspicious. :o(

Ann, how tragic. (((hugs)))

I hope they find who did it. Why? is the big questions would someone want to harm two dogs.
