Digging Out

By
Real Estate Agent with REALTY EDGE

We're digging out from yet another snow storm. Winter has been relentless this year and we've been freezing our "derriere's" off. Getting used to single digit temps, howling winds and below 0 degrees windchill is the norm. I know for some of you, this is no big deal, any of you have worse conditions and others can't conceive of lugging a shovel on showings to make sure, you can get a client in the door.

That shovel is also necessary after the showing, when you the agent are stuck because a big plow has

has just pushed two feet of snow against the length of your car. Oh, the joys of being out there and working the market! Which brings me to the market, which seems to echo our weather! If we can deal with the snow, the wind, the ice, we can deal with our real estate market. It's just one listing at a time, one showing at a time and like the weather...our market is bound to improve. I've got to think like that because it makes it easier. here's to our winter, whether it's the season or the market. It too shall end and SPRING is right around the corner! Hooray!!!!

Hi Ann,

I spoke with a friend who lives in West Seneca. He mentioned that homes in his area are being sold at a rapid pace. It is an established area one in which the original owners are selling for the first time. Buyers apparently have a great interest in the area. Hope the trend spreads to include the areas you service.

Think Spring! It is 82 and sunny here today.
