A couple of days ago I experienced an ice storm that has left many without power even today. My secretary lives in the county(lakewood community) and she is still without power.
While we were without power we were living in front of the fireplace up above!
My power was restored last night and I sure was proud to get it back. Many on my electric system are still without power.
I understand we came out pretty lucky. In neighboring Crockett, Obion, and Gibson counties, many are expected to be without power for several more days.
We had my wife's sister and her family at our house last night(their power is out). The temperature got down to 17 degrees last night.
