Brokerage firm adds new associate
Ryan Dunagan has been hired by Paul Johnson & Associates, a commercial brokerage firm in Abilene, as a leasing associate.
Dunagan, a native of McAllen, graduated from Abilene Christian University with a double major in management and marketing, and worked as an intern for Paul Johnson & Associates last spring.
Redcoat appreciation
The Abilene Chamber of Commerce hosted an appreciation luncheon for the Chamber Redcoats on Oct. 16 at Royal Estates of Abilene.
The Redcoats represent the Abilene Chamber of Commerce as goodwill ambassadors attending ribbon cuttings and groundbreakings for new and expanding businesses in Abilene.
The highlight of the luncheon was the presentation of the "Redcoat of the Year." This coveted award goes to the Redcoat who attended the most events and who showed exceptional involvement during the year. The Redcoats represented the Abilene Chamber of Commerce at 74 events for the 2007-08 year.
"Redcoat of the Year" is Dan Carpenter, who attended 55 out of the 74 events for the year. He is the marketing director for The Grace Museum and has served as a Redcoat since 2006.
