Welcome.  I am learning myself.  I will tell you that they say to write at least one blog a day and comment 10 blogs a day.  I wish you the best.

Congratulations on your first blog, Catherine.  Though I am no expert...I do like the Wordless Wednesday, and the speechless Sunday blogs.  Pictures always add an extra element to a blog and make it more appealing.  But anything goes...write from your heart as you did here and I'm sure you will have great success.  Good Luck! :o) Shawn

Catherine you are doing great (unbolting her training wheels) Let's head out of the yard and tell us about the town you live in..start with a blog and links to your hospital, or your library, or school or where do I go to get a job or what do you have for places to stay, etc.  Weave in a blog on that new listing you are excited about and post some pictures. Ask if anything seems hard..we are all here to help and are interested in seeing you do well which helps us all! Welcome aboard!

Hi Catherine,  I am touched the e-mail you sent in regards to my comment.  We have all been down the path of our firsts...I remember a few of my firsts as being exciting, memorable moments, some I will never forget, some were very frightening.  Every new step we take in life is a learning experience; I can recall one of my favorite professors in college speaking about writing.  Her advise was to detach yourself from what you write and read your writings objectively...which is the way I write...practice makes perfect of course in your grammar, however my english teacher is not here to grade me, so I will write and post what I feel might be of interest.  Active Rain is a great way to practice writing and is full of an enormous group of really great people (over 130,000+)...I really hope to see more of your posts and comments!
